webmatrix is a software development and web design company with over 20 years of experience, based in Rethymno, Crete. We design and build custom software for businesses that need more than a template: web applications, booking systems, online payments, business management software and API integrations with other systems.

What we build

Booking systems and booking engines. Online booking for transfers, excursions and tours, car rentals, accommodation and appointment-based services. Bookings happen on your own website, with no commission to third-party platforms, and go straight into your management system.

Online payments. Integration with Stripe, PayPal, Viva Wallet and Revolut: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and IRIS instant payments. Every payment is verified on the server, so no booking is ever confirmed before the money arrives.

Business management software. Customer CRM, appointment calendars, job costing, fleet and driver management, partner settlements, financial reports and Excel export. Everything works on desktop, tablet and mobile.

Software for the tourism industry. We specialise in travel agencies, tourist transport companies and car rental businesses: importing bookings from tour operator PDF and Excel files, assigning drivers and vehicles, live flight tracking, digital transfer orders and bulk submission to the government platform.

Integrations and automation. We connect your system to tour operators, payment providers, accounting software, e-invoicing and government platforms. Notifications go out via Viber, WhatsApp and email, so nothing has to be re-typed from one system to another.

AI assistants and artificial intelligence. Data extraction from documents and photos, voice data entry, a chatbot for your website, and automations that save hours of typing every day.

Websites that bring in customers. Responsive, multilingual websites, fast on mobile and built from the ground up for SEO and strong Google rankings.

Who we work with

Over the years we have worked with large businesses such as io tours in Chania, Crete, for which we built a complete system covering airport transfers, excursions and online booking in three languages. We also work with smaller businesses that need something more flexible than an off-the-shelf package, such as pest control companies, beauty centres, holiday rentals and event venues. We have also built our own platforms, such as VIP24, the management software for tourist transport companies.
